Our parents

Meet the team

Your child will have a key person whose role is to build a close relationship with your child to help them feel confident and safe.

The key person will also build a relationship with you as parents, working in partnership to support your child’s development and learning. For more information on the role of your child’s key person click here.

We record your child’s progress and what they have been doing in their learning journey books.  This will help you to be able to talk about the day with your child. You will have a contact book in which you can tell us about your child and the things you do together.  We endeavour to write in them every session and we sign them to show that we have read them.

We hold regular parent’s evenings and activities designed for you to enjoy with your child, such as a Father’s day breakfast, a Mother’s day tea party, and a summer camp out. In addition to this, every year, the children have the opportunity to take part in a Nativity Play at St Mary’s Church, Saffron Walden. This is one of the highlights of our year.

We welcome help from parents on our Forest School activities and in running fundraisers and social events.  Parents are also elected to serve on the Pre-School committee.
