policies

Policies and procedures are essential to help us provide good quality provision that is compliant with the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
They do this by making clear to staff and parents what sort of setting we are and what actions we take to make sure that this happens. The EYFS requires providers to have written policies and procedures and to ensure that staff are given training at induction about them and that they are accessible and explained to parents. We review our policies regularly to ensure that they are relevant and up to date.
We communicate our policies to families by discussing them during the home visit we make before a child starts Pre school. A full set of policies is available in the Parents Information Box at Pre-school; they are also available to download from links here.
