fees/government funding

When your child becomes eligible for Government funding (in the term after they have their third birthday), up to 15 hours are provided free of charge.

You may be able to get up to 30 hours’ free childcare. If you are eligible for the extra hours, you sign up online to get a code to pass on to us. For details on eligibility for funding, please visit the following website:

Government funding is also available to two year olds in certain circumstances.

Invoices are issued at the beginning of each term and we ask that fees are settled by half term.   We are happy to accept payment by online banking,  by cheque or by cash.

We accept payment in childcare vouchers if your employer offers these.   Childcare vouchers are a tax efficient way of paying for pre-school sessions. Please contact the treasurer for more information.  link treasurer to treasurer@stmaryschurchpreschool.co.uk

How we can help:
It is very important that you speak to the manager as soon as possible  if you have difficulties with paying your fees, as any fees unpaid by the end of term could result in your child’s place at Pre-School being withdrawn.

We will always treat difficulties with payment sympathetically and in confidence – please talk to the manager as we may be able to help by  arranging payment by regular monthly or weekly amounts.

We work closely with local health visitors and charities to support families in particular financial need – do ask if this might apply to you.
